We welcome new members to the Top
Hats. We encourage you to visit us at one of our rehearsals which are held
on Wednesday evening at
8 p.m. at the
Burlington Legion. We
have positions available for the following instrumentation:

Percussionist
-
Trombone
-
French Horn
-
Baritone Sax
-
Clarinet
-
Flute
The Top Hats are all about
entertaining our fans and playing lively but challenging music both
parade and concert.
Top
Hat Membership Expectations
-
Potential members are expected to
be able to play their instrument of choice at an
intermediate to
advanced level. Top Hat music is
challenging. It should be noted that we do not provide musical instruction.

Potential members should own their own instrument.

Regular attendance at rehearsals is expected
-
Members must be 19 years of age or older
Parades and Concerts
-
members are expected to attend most parades and concerts during the year
-
members uniforms are expected to be maintained in good presentable condition
at all performances
-
members are expected to
check the
website regularly to update attendance, to
check upcoming events and download their parts for rehearsal
Applications for membership must be approved by the Executive and Music
Director.
