The Perfect Pour
 |
Although we concentrate on our music to
perfect it day to day, the goal of our organization is to escape from the rigors
of daily life and step back in time a bit to when this were more simple.
Take this picture of Neal, our dancer, for
example. Not a care in the world.
How do we do it you ask? Simple. We play music
we love, bring smiles and joy to the people we perform for, and we follow it up
by a few drinks found at a local establishment.
So the title - the Perfect Pour. If anyone
knows our band, they know our signature drink. The Sinclair, named after our
dancer pictured here. So now, for the first time ever, we're going to let the
whole world know the secret behind the Sinclair, a little known drink, yet any
restaurant or bar that has been host to the Top Hats know all too well. |
|
THE SINCLAIR
Begin by filling a medium glass half full
with ice (yes, we're optimists so its half full). Add 1 - 2 oz of rum. Top up
with Perrier, and finish off with a splash of coke for colour.
That's it! Other variations to this drink:
-
Get the
proportions of rum and Perrier mixed up
-
Serve in Tim
Horton's coffee cup
-
Serve in
old, cleaned out yoghurt container
And for those of
you who need some ideas of what to do with the cup when your done
drinking from it:
The Burlington
Top Hat Marching Orchestra always practices safety first - if that means
offering a friend a ride home or providing them with a cab. Remember
that whenever you drink, don't drive. |
